A big hug, not just for you, but for everyone on Hive, because this is an amazing community full of wonderful friends, and I'm happy to be a part of it. Of course, you guys here at Rising Star are my favorite friends and the ones I love the most. Are you ready to see a new drawing? I bet you are. I just finished drawing a musical instrument that isn't very well-known; in fact, most of you have probably never even heard of it. I'm talking about the Kayamba. You can find it with the identification number R475.
Among its attributes, it only has 50. The Kayamba, my friends, is mostly from African countries; that is, it originated there, created based on the evolution of other instruments. I know, I have to joke about this; many say it looks like a washboard, the kind women used to use to wash clothes in rivers. And it's true, it's almost identical. Anyone who doesn't know would easily mistake them for one. When I saw it in the game store, that was the first thing that came to mind, and I laughed a lot.
The Kayamba itself is a kind of maraca, but square-shaped. You know, maracas with holes inside and filled with seeds; when shaken, they create music. Well, this works similarly. It's full of seeds that hit the wooden walls, creating a musical rhythm. What's striking is that it's square, because most similar instruments are less bulky.
Today I learned about the Kayamba when I saw it in the store, and it was a real privilege to draw it here today. I sincerely hope you liked the drawing you've been seeing while we talked. I'll be back very soon with more. A big hug. By the way, I almost forgot, before we say goodbye, you can tell me what you'd like to see in future drawings. Choose a Rising Star deck and let me know. I'll gladly draw them. Now, a hug.
