A big hug, friends of Hive and Rising Star. Today's hand-drawn version is of an instrument called the Cheap Katlee Drum. You can find this instrument identified in the game on the i34 deck. If you look at the deck's ID number, you'll realize this is one of the oldest decks in the entire game, perhaps one that came out in the first phase, when the game was in true beta. That's why I'm happy to dedicate a drawing to such an iconic and beloved card in the game. Perhaps many of you reading this already have one already purchased.
The instrument itself is a drum kit, or perhaps a part of a drum kit. It's funny that the deck says it's cheap. Perhaps it exists and is also cheap, or perhaps expensive in contrast to its name. It's funny and a curiosity worth mentioning. In the first four images you saw above, you've seen part of the process for drawing the deck and the drum kit. For example, I drew the base of the deck with the drum kit in the center. Of course, as you can see in the images, I first wrote and traced the name of the instrument and then boxed it to form a bar.
As for the coloring, I used my colored pencils. But I helped them with some markers for some areas, since the most intense areas can only be achieved with markers.
So far, you've seen how I traced and drew the drawing. Then, I saw how I colored the newly created deck. Now, I want to share with you how I used the black marker to highlight the final areas. I'll also show you the materials used to make the drawing. A big hug, and I'll be happy to return soon so we can continue sharing about Rising Star together.
