Hello friends of hive and especially those in the Rising Star community. I'm new to the community, and this is my first post. For those who don't know me, I really enjoy photography and art, especially focusing on nature. It's one of my hobbies. I discovered hive through Rob Kingdom's YouTube channel, and later learned about Rising Star through one of his videos. I'm grateful for the information he's provided. In fact, I'm currently watching his Rising Star series; he has tutorials for every aspect of the game, which is greatly appreciated by newcomers like me who are just starting out. If you're new and unfamiliar with hive or the game, I highly recommend that channel.
Well, the reason for my visit here is to show you a drawing I made, dedicated to one of the game's cards. After reviewing the entire catalog, I chose the maracas. I'm familiar with this instrument, and it's very common in my country. That's why I was so excited to start here. I did the drawing by hand with colored pencils. I'll show you how I did it.
I started the work using a blank sheet of paper I had at home. On it, I began by writing the name of this letter, which is i125 Maracas. I wrote it first because the letters should be left blank, as it's harder to draw them over colored pencil. Then I drew the two guide lines that enclose the name. With a ruler, I then drew the main outline where everything else will go later.
Next, I added its attributes on the right side. In this case, it only has one Luck, because it's a common card. Next, I added the maracas in the center and added the category to which this card belongs at the bottom, which, as I said, is common.
At this point, I could start coloring. I took one of my blue colors and painted the border first. Then, little by little, I colored in other areas, being careful not to cover up the letters I initially made, as they should remain white.
Next, I took a black color and colored the central parts around the marks, then painted the marks themselves in three colors, just as shown on the chart I used as a guide. Normally, in my country, they're all one solid color, so they caught my attention and even struck me as a little curious.
Now we just need to go over all the colors so that they are more intense and can be better distinguished.
Friends, to finish, I'll show you how it turned out when I finished polishing some details. I want to thank you all so much for being here for my first post and for seeing my drawing; I'm very grateful. I also want to thank Rob Kingdom for his videos, which are why I'm here with you today, and for creating an incredible game. I'm saying goodbye, but we'll see you again.
