I have been playing the Rising Star Game for a few months now, and I have discovered several pearls of information along the way.
I have decided to start writing about my experience at RSG.
Accumulating Cards
Owning cards is a big part of the game.
Player Rankings depend a great deal on the cards that you hold.
The total number of cards that you hold will help increase your rank
There are two things to consider when purchasing cards.
- Price of the card
- Uniqueness of the card
The player ranking is as follows
As you can see, 70% of ranking is based on card ownership with the unique cards being worth a bit more.
You will want to obtain as many cards as you can afford to purchase.
You can purchase card packs in the game, but this will give you 36 cards for 100,000 starbits. This is not too bad, especially when you are first collecting unique cards.
But you can do much better with your Starbits purchasing the cards off the marketplace.
I have found a better way to collect total cards for less cost.
Introducing NFTMart
You can go directly to the website, or you can access it in game under the CARDS dropdown box. Go to marketplace and at the top of the page will be a link for NFTMart
You will sign in using Hive Keychain, and NFTMart will import your data from the game.
There are several options on the site, but for now, I want to focus on obtaining as many low-priced cards as you can afford to purchase.
At the top of the page, click on Buy Cards.
Make sure you are on the Rising Star tab.
There is also a currency filter at the top of the page near the shopping cart icon.
On the far right, you will see your Hive Engine token balances, and on the far left, you will see a price filter.
A good place to start is selecting Starbits as your currency and setting the Price Filter to between 0 and 500
(Just a note about the site, it moves a little slow when putting in you setting, but after that, it streams along.)
Now you are ready to start buying cards in quantity.
As you hover over any card, it will show you the price for that card. If this is an acceptable price, you can purchase as many as you want. The price will update with each click, and you will see a small "X number" in the right corner of the card that shows how many cards are available for purchase.
Once you have selected cards, you will see the total cost near the shopping cart icon. You can continue to purchase cards until you reach the total you want to spend.
Let me show you an example of how many cards that I purchased just this morning.
I purchased a total of 168 cards for 50,002 Starbits.
That is half of the cost of 12 packs which are sold on site for 100,000 Starbits. The 12 pack of cards will get you 36 cards.
Okay, I think I have given you enough information to get you started on using NFTMart
If I have confused you or failed to explain something, please make a note in the comments.
Please remember that when making purchases with Starbits, the Starbits need to be in your Hive Engine and not in the game.
Moving your Starbits from the game to your Hive Engine wallet is simple. You just move your cursor over your Starbits total on the right upper side, and you will get a dropdown list that starts with "Withdraw/Deposit."
Click the Withdraw/deposit tab, and you will see your choices for moving Starbits to your Hive Engine wallet.

Rising Star game.
The information in this post is my opinion and is correct to the best of my knowledge. There are always other options to consider. Be sure to D.Y.O.R
Until next time,
