Colleagues, it's great to be with you again this time. I want to show you my most recent drawing. Today's is special because it's the first one I've dedicated to a card from the Boost section. Well, as you can see on the cover, it's the Gold Disc card. This is a very beautiful card with wonderful artwork. That's why I decided to draw it.
So, let's get down to business. Now, I'm going to show you how I made this drawing from start to finish. I promise it will be fun to look at. Well, as those of you who've seen my previous drawings already know, I always start with the familiar frame of the card. This is the easiest part. It's just two rectangles, one inside the other. At the bottom, I made a small opening to later include the card's category, which, as I said, is Boost. I'll show you how this part turned out.
After that step, I made the next frame. This is what will hold the disc later. Then, in the center, I made two more circles to form the shape of the disc and its center.
With that ready, I then drew the star in the center of the circles just as it appears in the original card. I also made some small black grooves to give the impression of shine later on.
Now I moved on to the painting stage. This was, as usual, the most fun part of the entire process. As you can see, I tried to simulate the original colors. I always start from the outside in. The frame comes first, followed by the interior parts until I get to the star. Here are some screenshots of the process.
And to top it off, my dear colleagues, I've added the final details, such as the name of this card and its category. And, of course, I've included the name of the game. What do you think of the result? See you in the next drawing.
