A warm welcome back to my blog, everyone! On this occasion, we continue with the second chapter of the Rising Star series. After the warm reception of my First Post on Rising Star (Spanish), it is a true honor to continue sharing in this story my progress and strategy.
In the previous post, I showed my starting point from where we began this series of postsโa certainly advanced starting point, but it was the beginning of this series. Today, we will focus on the account's progress since the last publication and the initial reflections we can draw from this journey.
The Rhythm of Growth: Stats Update
These are my account statistics as of today and how my account has evolved. Additionally, below we can see a comparison between the beginning of this story and the current state, so we can analyze the progression together:
| Stat | Chapter 1 | Chapter 2 | Change | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Level | 221 | 239 | +18 | Steady climb |
| Fans | 4,997,814 | 5,276,569 | +278,755 | You can never have enough fans |
| Luck | 967,401 | 974,202 | +6,801 | Stat that comes with fan cards |
| Skill (Total) | 5,393,798 | 5,703,539 | +309,741 | Stat that comes with fan cards |
| Ego | 5.03% | 10.74% | +5.71% | A noticeable increase, we'll discuss this later |
| Total Cards | 58,625 | 60,947 | +2,322 | The collection keeps expanding |
Next, a summary view from the risingstarutils panel:
As we can see, we have managed to increase Fans (+278,755) and continue to level up (+18). Currently, I could already unlock the fourth island, but there are two reasons why I haven't done it yet. First, I need to buy more Petrol Cans to be able to do the missions I need to complete to discover the manager (I'll probably wait until the last minute to buy them or rent them ๐). And second, until I have a high enough level to unlock the second mission of the fourth island, I don't think it's worth unlocking it due to the increased ego from the other islands.
A point that will surely draw attention is my Ego, which has risen to 10.74%. The original plan was to reduce it to zero as soon as possible with the earnings, but the card market has been a bit dead stagnant lately. This has caused the prices of cards (at least the ones I'm interested in) to drop, making them attractive enough to prefer buying fans over doing missions. Hopefully, this won't happen again, and I can focus the earnings on controlling ego.
Regarding the Ranking, I find it quite interesting to see that we have climbed a few spots to the top #88, considering I haven't bought unique cards directly (I probably got some through fans).
Finally, the number of cards has seen a notable increase of +2,000, a reflection of reinvestment and buying fans on the market.
The Efficient Reinvestment Strategy
My main focus has been to acquire assets that not only increase the gross numbers but do so as efficiently as possible, always thinking long-term and optimizing the return per Starbit invested.
Next Steps to Follow...
Looking at the current state of the account, my objectives will be:
- Acquire
or RentPetrol Cans: To have all preparations ready to unlock the fourth island. - Reach level 250 (I think that was it): Reaching this level as soon as possible will allow me to unlock the second mission of the fourth island, which theoretically should allow me to generate a bit more Starbits.
- Reduce Ego to Zero: Before this gets out of control, action must be taken.
- Continue growing the account (fans): Find a balance between lessons to control ego and continuing to buy fans.
End of Chapter 2:
And so concludes this second chapter, a deep dive into the current state of my account, my stats, my strategy, and some reflections or learnings.
๐ Now it's Your Turn ๐
Now, the microphone is in your hands. I would like to know your impressions and if...
- Is anyone selling
rentingPetrol Cans? They are a bit expensive from my point of view. - Are you willing, or do you know someone who wants to sell 1 or 2 million fans at a good price? I'm all ears.
- Same as above but for keyboards, if anyone is selling keyboards at a good price? I'm your guy ๐.
- Do you think it would be worthwhile to open packs (+1000) to make a post with statistics on both rarity percentages and the average cost of each stat type on the cards? I'm not a big fan of opening packs, as it's much more efficient to buy single cards, but it could be interesting to do this from time to time.
