Hello, everyone! Today I will be continue to share high-quality songs, share how I discovered them, and share some interesting facts about them. To top it all off, I will also include several tables with the statistics compiled by the Rising Star game.
Since May, I have been creating a playlist to keep track of the latest songs I have discussed in my posts. This will help me keep track of the songs I have used so I dont end up repeating them. The last song I talked about in my last post is: Eiti-Leda from the legendary argentine band Seru Giran.
Beer and Women: Jan Valta, Adam Sporka
My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is Beer and Women from the artist Jan Valta and Adam Sporka.
For some time now, I've been sharing several songs related to video games, and the truth is that it's no coincidence. Over the years, many of the songs I ended up listening to came from that particular genre. Either because a game uses existing music from other eras or because it has its own compositions that immerse you in the world of that video game.
Today's case is related to one of my favorite sagas of all time: Kingdom Come Deliverance. It's one of the few games that really tries to represent the medieval era in a fairly realistic way, without resorting too much to fantastic elements as others do.
I found the setting, the story, and the way it tries to recreate life in that era to be very well done. One of the things I can highlight most about this saga is its music. The soundtrack manages to give the game a very medieval and, in some cases, even ecclesiastical atmosphere. There are songs that use instruments from the period and others that seem to be taken from a church choir of that era.
The track I have chosen today is Beer and Women, composed by Jan Valta and Adam Sporka. I don't remember exactly where this song appeared, although I suspect it was in a cutscene where you got drunk with other characters such as Poverty and Famine.
Jan Valta is a Czech composer best known for his work on the soundtrack for the Kingdom Come Deliverance saga. He was responsible for creating almost all of the music featured in the first installment, and was once again selected to perform various songs in the latest installment released by Warhorse Studios.
Beer and Women is part of the soundtrack for the first Kingdom Come Deliverance. This song combines several instruments that represent the medieval music of that time with rather cheerful lyrics.
