Yves Larocque is a self-taught international producer and DJ who has developed a unique personality and personal style over the last two years with 'Zookey' in 2005, 'Lift Up' in 2007 and his new single 'By Jouw'.

But "Rise up" is a real opportunity for Yves to establish himself as a DJ/Producer, or rather in the Producer/DJ scene, as he likes to define himself. Signed by Universal and Ministry of Sound, Rise featured singer Jaba and became a worldwide hit. The song reached number 1 on the dance charts in over 20 countries, became an instant hit on major beaches and clubs in the summer of 2007 and was flagged as a potential hit when played on Kiss Radio in the UK.
The same scenario repeats itself every time. Radio stations are bombarded with phone calls and text messages and have no choice but to add the results to their playlists. Pete Tong was a strong supporter of Radio 1 in early May 2007. The title remains the most popular song in Europe this year and has also become a classic in South America, the United States, India and South Africa. No doubt influenced by his hip-hop roots, he certainly left his mark a decade later. Yves came up with the idea of mixing House and Zouk, Ragga and Reggae in a unique style. Finding an ethnic instrument, steel drum, banjo or balafon is undoubtedly a creative choice that reflects your true personal style. His character makes him a serious option to defend, even if he travels around the world to play for his first club on maintenance weekends. The release of his first album is scheduled for September 2008.
