The Immaculate Collection is the first greatest hits album by American singer Madonna and was released on November 13, 1990 by Sire Records. The album was produced by Madonna, Lenny Kravitz and Shep Pettibone. The album includes Madonna's fifteen hit singles recorded in the 1980s, as well as two brand new tracks, "Justify My Love" and "Rescue Me". All previously released material has been reprocessed through QSound audio technology, making it also the first album to use this technology.

Meanwhile, the album's release was accompanied by a same titled home video release, an EP titled The Holiday Collection, and a box set titled The Royal Box. "Justify My Love" was released as the album's lead single with a controversial music video that featured overtly sexual imagery. The video was released on VHS after being banned by MTV and became the best-selling video single of all time. Additionally, It became Madonna's ninth number-one single on the US Billboard Hot 100. The second single, "Rescue Me", peaked at number nine, had the highest debut on the chart since the Beatles' "Let It Be".

The album The Immaculate Collection received universal acclaim from critics, who also deemed it a defining retrospective of 1980s music. The album peaked at number two on the US Billboard 200 and topped the charts in Argentina, Canada, Finland, Australia, Ireland and the United Kingdom. Going eleven times platinum from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), the album became Madonna's second diamond-certified album in the United States. The album was a huge commercial success worldwide.

The Immaculate Collection has sold more than 30 million copies worldwide, making it the best-selling compilation album by a solo artist to date and one of the best-selling albums of all time. The album has been featured on all-time critics lists by many publications, including Blender, which named it the greatest American album of all time. Additionally, by the end of the 1980s, Madonna had become the biggest female singles artist in history, with the most number-one and top ten hit songs by a woman in both the United States and the United Kingdom. Undoubtedly, in my opinion, Madonna is the Queen of Pop.

There are great songs on The Immaculate Collection Album, but I can say that my favorite songs are "Live To Tell" and "Into The Groove".

Madonna sings the song "Live To Tell" with a soft melody, very beautiful lyrically and with a heartfelt emotion. I think this song is one of those songs that has cross-generational appeal. It's truly a great work.

"Into the Groove" was the first song I listened to by Madonna, I liked it very much at the time and it is still one of the songs I like very much. What's interesting is that Madonna says she wrote this song in less than five minutes. Also, this song encourages dancing and I can't stop dancing every time I listen to it. It's truly a great work.
