Last week I had a Rising Star contest and put up a limited edition seasonal card, Christmas Choir, as the prize.

In order to qualify for this giveaway, leave a comment with your Rising Star username and share what your New Year Resolution is for 2022. If you don't have a resolution, simply share something you're looking forward to in the new year!
Entries will be accepted until January 1, 2022 and I will select one winner of the S27 Christmas Choir card.

What is my New Years Resolution?
I've thought long and hard about this question and there's several things I'd like to do but I just don't feel sufficiently motivated enough to make an actual resolution. Yes, I need to lose weight and exercise more, but it seems cliché as a resolution and I'm bound to fail unless I'm completely into the idea.
A more realistic resolution for myself in 2022 is to read more books for pleasure. I do a lot of reading for work, but that's technical reading. I have long dreamed of being a writer and being a good writer starts with being a voracious reader, so that's what I'm going to set out to do more of in 2022.

These are all brand-new rare cards for me! I especially like the purple background of the Rachael card. It adds a really cool depth dimension to the card.

New Giveaway!
I didn't receive any duplicate rare cards in today's pack opening. However, I did receive a duplicate of one of the special seasonal cards that can be dropped from the Christmas Carolling mission.
I know that some people have really struggled to get these cards to drop for them, so I'm going to give one away here! The S28 Happy Lappy card!
