As I said, I created a way to read the diary we have inside Rising Star in a much faster and more efficient way! I introduce you to:

Yes, it may sound crazy, but I created this program. I thought of something that would make it easier to be able to do the sums of Starbits, EGO, Skill, Pizzas, Cooffes and Four Leaf Clovers, as it was too much work to get line by line and add to get the totalizers.

I made it the easiest and fastest way I thought, obviously the process is not 100% automated, but what you need to do is just copy and paste your diary and ready: “magic”! No, no, Just kidding, it's technology!

I performed some very basic validations, but whoever is going to use it also has to do their part, just copy and paste your diary into the text field and press F2 to do the sum process by grouping by day.

• Simply put, the RS Diary Reading is a word reader, what I did was use functions and regular expressions to find keywords to add and group by date.
• As said, the RS Diary Reading will group by date, that is, it will look at each line of the diary always looking for the same date to add and group, when changing the date, it adds this grouped result to the grid.
• I noticed that the default is always: “Month” (space) “day” (2 digits) Ex.: December 05. In this way, the RS Diary Reading always looks at this key to assemble the past days.
• "Today" is more complicated, as I only have the time and no reference to the month or year, so I made the decision that: when the RS Diary Reading finds a "time" : (two points) "minutes", I will consider the date like today!
• The year will always be considered the current year.

• Completely select and copy (Ctrl + C) your diary, by my tests it usually gives an average of 9 or 10 days, It depends a lot on what you do each day.
• In my example, I took part of the day 12/04/2021 until today, 12/13/2021.
• The final result will always be reflected according to how many lines you selected.

• Paste (Ctrl + V) all the lines into the text field and press the F2 or “START” button.

• And ready! The magic happened! Now you can view, analyze and copy totalizers!
• At first it's just adding the fields that are in the list, without formatting and from what I've seen, the diary always uses integer values, that is, numbers without commas (decimals).

• In order not to get too repetitive, the copy and paste process will always be the same, so imagine you took a full 2 days, today and yesterday.
• Remembering that when you take the lines with hours and minutes, it is considered today, so if you put next year (2022) a diary from 2021, it will probably come out in the first line xx/xx/2022, and the others as 2021.
• I didn't bother to create a perfect program, which handles all possible exceptions, because thinking about everything that is variable is not a simple thing. So just copy and paste and everything will be fine 😁.

• Here I took 3 very random days, you noticed that the RS Diary Reading will always group by the dates found.
• The rows are added from the highest to the lowest date, but clicking on the column name, an ordering is done from lowest to highest, the same goes for the other columns that are numerical.

• F2 => Starts the process of reading the lines and at the end adds them to the list grouping by date.
• F3 => Clears the text field and result list.
• F7 => Close the program.
• Shortcuts => There isn't much yet, I just repeated some actions that you already have by command or button.

Well, the implementations I'm thinking about are:

• The main one, I will create a command to export the list with the result in the necessary format to create a table here in the posts. I think of a command that will open a frame or text field with the formatting ready, then just copy and play in your post.
• [EDIT] Put in the diary reading, the starbits you earn from achievement, for example doing 100 times the same mission. I think about putting it on the list, with the name "Bonus" in the column.
• Something about the formation of dates and numbers.
• More languages besides English.
• In addition to the suggestions, criticisms and maintenance of the RS Diary Reading, any problem, error or improvement that the community gives me, I will focus on trying to fix and improve!

The current version is 21.12.3 (21st of the year, 12th of the month, 3rd build number).

• The icon used in the RS Diary Reading is a print I took from the Rising Star website, cut out and saved as (.ico).
• The IDE I used to create the RS Diary Reading was Visual Studio 2017, I've been using it for a long time in my work and I used my free time to create the Diary Reading.
• All prints were taken from my personal machine.
