I found myself attending a couple of protests during the lockdowns and mandates during the crazy period.
I'm not a fan of arbitrary rules. Historically, it seems to me, that the ,"Rules", end up becomming of greater importance than, the original intention, that the implementation of the rule was meant to achieve.
I'd been caught flat footed. I had given very small attention to politics and the move of countries to start marching in lock-step unison to implement those rules to impede a person's rights.
I consider that there is a form of Wisdom that previous generations have imparted upon us. Not that they were any wiser, although their writings seem to be of a higher standard in many aspects, but their successes and failures provide a blend of knowledge to help us avoid repeating those mistakes.
In venting my prostestations, I started to realise, that I have plenty of my own self to work upon. I don't want to dictate to anybody about how they should conduct their life.
Isn't there a sense of "Universal Law"?
When hearing strong personalities, like that of Darren Bergwerf, you see people are also zoning in on a similar frequency.
I'm not into hanging with Community Groups. I find my own little bubble is enough to keep me pretty busy. But I do like the way MyPlace has developed, is developing, and is motivated by a sense of Community.
I also like the fact that they aspire to cater to many types of people.
There are a number of different areas that a person can focus upon.
There are social gatherings, networking for business, farming, activism at local Councils, Constitutional education, Legal discussions, and volunteering.
I recently attended, Greg's farm, that is in Plumpton Victoria, where the farmer has given the local group some land to grow crops. They also have a store there to sell produce.
All of this is focused upon bringing organic change. To fill in the gaps that were left when we were all caught up in our daily rigamarole.
Depending on an individual's pace, there is somewhere people can feel welcome.
It all seems very Hive like to me. I see many parallels between the Hive Community of Crypto enthusiasts and those driven for a different kind of real world life.
