Hello guys
It's been already one week since my last post (and another three more days since I started to write this) 😁🤣
I have so many posts to share with you and I'm always having a hard time chosing which one to share (this is just my sick mind, having problems to take decisions). 😕
Anyways, for some reason I thought sharing these photos about our experience at Dolphinarium, Microreservation and Exotic Birds in Constanta, here in Romania.
Maybe can come with a lot more of this place in the future, as she's living in Constanta. I'm a bit jealous of her because she gets to see all the sunsets and sunrises above and from the sea 😝.
Maybe you wonder why I'm posting this to Healthy Happy Kids Community ?
It's because Healthy and Happy Kids doesnt always mean food and body health combined.
It's more than this. We need to provide for our kids with more than just feeding them and keeping them safe in order so they can grow healthy and happy.
There's also social, mental, spiritual and emotional well being. All human beings must have a balance between all these, especially kids.
Exploring places and outdoor play is super super important as well, from the very first years. Learning from the environment, spending time in nature, connect with it, these are also things to consider if you want a healthy kid.
It's not about how many cool or new places your child is exploring every year, is not about this. It's about learning and observing nature and its elements. It's about spending quality time as family together in the most natural scenery possible, nurturing his comprehension for the external environment that surrounds us.
It's about the experience of that specific moment and time, in that specific place. Offering opportunities in which children get to learn about the world in a natural way isnt called "learning". It's....imperceptible. It's fun discovering new things. It's fun when they do it with a person they trust and love. It's just natural to be this way.
A healthy kid is a happy kid.
Simple as that.
And it's the same for the adults too. There's no difference, at all.
But let's just stay on the kids topic.
SO, about this place.
My son is now 5, he just turned five last month. There were more than a few times when me and my husband were just the two of us in a weekend getaway or in a short vacay. But when we go together as a family, no matter how long the vacation lasts, I always look up for something that my kid could enjoy himself. Maybe it's just a kids pool, maybe it's a park, maybe it's about a few moments playing in the sand with his toys, whatever. But we make time so he can actually enjoy something, no matter how tiny it is. This way, he gets a bit of other activities and experiences that help him grow in every aspect.
In our last vacation being in Constanta, visiting our friends, I wanted to take Caleb to Dolphinarium. I was thinking about it since last year, but for some reason we didnt go back then.
And I'm happy we didnt because I realize that now, being at five, Caleb has a different approach on these activities and places we visit. He's more active and involved, his level of understanding is just something else, compared with one year ago.
The Dolphinarium is among the most visited tourist attractions in Constanta both in summer and in the off-season. Along The Planetarium and The Astronomical Observatory and the Microreserve, the Dolphinarium is a beautiful and exciting part of the Natural Sciences Museum Complex of Constanta, located on Mamaia Boulevard at the intersection with Soveja street.
The Dolphinarium was inaugurated on June 1st, 1972, representing at that time the first museum of its kind in Romania and South-Eastern Europe

One adult ticket was something around 10-12 dollars. For the little one was free because he was under 5 yrs old.
In this price you can visit the Dolphinarium, Microreservation and Exotic Birds Exhibition.
The moment with dolphins was quite nice. I know kids go insane seeing this type of representation.
After the show, we went back in the hallway where we both admired the drawings made by children on the theme of saving the planet, the waters of the world and all underwater creatures.
Then we went outside to explore the Microreservation and the Exotic Birds.
In this area, there is the Romanian Delta where a lot of birds have their nest. The climate of th
The MICRORESERVATION within the Natural Sciences Museum Complex is a unique place in Constanta. Inaugurated in 1985, the Microreservation covers an area of about 6 ha, of which 2 ha is a lake with specific vegetation. This goal was created from the idea of giving visitors a more complete picture of the nature of Dobrogen.
The heritage of the museum includes aquatic avifauna (pelicans, swans, ducks and wild geese), terrestrial avifauna (peacocks and pheasants) and mammals (mouflon, fallow deer and roe deer), which are found in the Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve and the Negureni Reserve. Most of these specimens are natural monuments and rare species with an increasingly reduced representation in the wild.
The "residents" of the Microreservation benefit from "accommodation" spaces according to European standards in the field, and during the cold season they are sheltered in heated rooms. Mirco Delta is in an extensive process of modernization and diversification of the species it shelters.
In addition to the exhibition destination, the Microreservation is also a wonderful place for spending free time in an educational way. Also, within the volunteer programs launched by the institution, animal lovers can participate in the supervised feeding of the animals within the Microreserve. A Center for sheltering animals brought by various people, especially in the cold season, was also initiated within the Microreservation.

The place is just perfect to take a walk in the city of Constanta. You can pay only to visit the Microreservation. This means you're able to see all the birds, take a long stroll in the middle of nature and also go in the Kids Park. which is a cool place for kids to burn they energy out.
Me and Caleb walked a lot this day and spent some quality time together. I love to see him actually enjoy something. I love these kind of places where there's room for learning too.
In the end, we got to the Exotic Birds point. There are quite a few but I didnt photograph them all.
Caleb was already a bit tired after playing the Park. Also he was a bit hungry.
Fortunately, you can buy some "fast" food here, like sandwichies or corn. Better than nothing. You know what kids act when they're hungry :))
So what do you think of this place?
Would you take your kid to a visit? Or maybe would you enjoy a show to the Dolphinarium?
