My sweetie was begging for a burger and fries.

We eat ground turkey or lamb. This time I made turkey. Seasoned with Garlic powder, sage, oregano, basil, rosemary, red pepper flakes, smoked paprika, pink salt and pepper.
I also added Portobello mushroom, green onions, fresh garlic. Frying them in beef tallow makes them especially good.
Russet potatoes with the skin on. I tossed them in coconut oil and spread on parchment paper. I add pepper first. Toward the end of baking I add fresh ground rosemary, dill, finely ground onion powder and pink salt.
We were lucky to get homemade pickles from a friend.
Organic greens.
My plate. I don't need the bread and fries. I'll take all the greens. For salad dressing, we use equal mixture of 3 parts: lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, and olive oil.
For dessert: homemade grape, pomegranate, cherry and ginger jello with fresh currants.
Overall this is a healthy(ier), and definitely tastier, version of Burger and Fries. No restaurant prepares it with the extra touch of mushrooms in the burger or seasonings on the fries. The burger itself is better seasoned. Coconut oil and Beef tallow are better than vegetable oil. Homemade food is the best.
