After a long and difficult vegetative stage, these lockdown plants have flipped into flower, and a spot of luck has graced my crop! All 5 of my MK Ultra adults - AND my big Mango Kush "Beau" - are female!
Spot the pistils (aka "white hairs") in each of the photos!
And of course, if all the plants are female, all the clones I took are, too! Check out this little darling:
She's small, but I'm going to flower her out anyway since she won't take up any room in the corner, and won't cost me anything. Nothing wrong with getting a really nice joint out of a tiny plant. (Too bad I don't have room for all of them!)
Luck
I've had some good luck and some rough experiences when dealing with unsexed (natural) cannabis seeds, and I do understand the draw to using clones and/or feminized seeds.
But this time, wow, I really lucked out! 6 plants for 6 is pretty darn good! Normally about 4 in 6 would be female, statistically.
So all those clones I took, to fill up my garden in case I got a bunch of males? Waste of time and space! I chopped my plants up, succeeded at cloning quite a few, and then didn't need the clones. Woops.
Apparently, my luck was better than it needed to be! Hahaha!
Grow in peace.
