It happened to work out that today is also harvest day for these small clones.
I started flowering them 5/1.
My overall inspection gives me the followering results:
- A very dense flower.
- A very pungent fruity aroma.
- Heavy trichome coverage.
- Maturation approximately 15% CBD coverage.
The maturation is only an estimation by visual results, which it's important to note that the photos in this post are unedited.
I chose to leave them unedited so that the viewer may get the opportunity to see what I see before enhancing the viewing experience.
Maturation of the trichomes is complete enough but not as advanced as it could be.
I could have gone for a heavier amber coloration of the trichomes, increasing the cannabadiol medicinal properties, but the current heavy milky coloration will allow for a stronger psychoactive effect.
It is importatant to also note that the maturation of the trichomes will probably still happen for a day or two, increasing the amber trichome coverage a bit more.
For my uses this may be somewhat heavy on the psychoactive compounds, but the decision to harvest sooner than I may have otherwise comes down to the fact that these two plants were mostly just a test for their mother, and I am pretty swamped with everything I'm doing and am ready to have them out of the way for heavier focus on the big plants.
