A Geode that my Kids had found whilst out walking around with their grandma.
My, what a year for pumpkins, I hear. Which is a sad thought but still made my small yield not so terrible, mildew is what I was fighting all season. We did get some good green ones despite the mold. Beauty had seen something and she put together this scene here just above the kitchen counter.
Rocky wood, this a piece of petrified wood that we had just Lying in front. Gonna look fantastic with the future root growth on the cannabonsai.
The first and the Last are a good setup for my CB19. These former trees were found in a hollowed and nearly hollowed state, little trip to the drill bit. Boom drainage. These each hold a little over 2 gallons of soil. I was hoping to get some benefit from the further breakdown of material while having a fantastic scene for the new girls.
This is the following day after transplant. One lady is already leaning from how she was in her former bowl of a pot.
Both of these girls needed the transplant weather I liked it or not, they were not liking their small confines as much. Both are now thriving in the new more woodsy environment. Finding something someone had resigned to the discard pile and making it beautiful in a different format is what chicken salad is all about. Pumpkins got me to thinking of the good ol' watermelon, same concept but sweeter, more appetizing. Much like the one off coffee stands in the Pacific North West.
