OG Frost
What's up tokers? It's been a couple of days for an update and the last one was the Lemon-Ups LST training post. Today I am writing about the OG Jack Frost. This strain I have not shared much if any photos really.
I started this one well it was a group of 5 of them that I went pheno hunting with and I was able to keep two, The one ended up being a male so that left me with only one female and I can tell you I was lucky to get this one.

Low Stress Training
The whole idea behind this round of plants now that I have go the taste and grow almost in place is to increase my yield. The way I plan to do that is by training my plants to have more tops. You can see what happens when I don't train the plants vs training.
You can see in these two photos that in just 3 days LST can allow for light to get into some lower parts and allow the side shoots to catch up. I am hoping to train this plant to stay low as well as have a few tops as it is a Sativa and I think it is going to stretch quite a bit in flower.
When it comes to the training I like to check it every day but move the ties and stakes around every two days or so just to give the stock time to try and straighten back out.

Top Dress
When it comes to the top dress this has been much like the lemon-ups plant. It has been getting some small top-dresses of kelp, alfalfa and some worm castings. The plan is to start adding in some rock dust once I start to see the cover crop break the soil. The cover crop that has been added is just some clover and barley/oat.

Compost Tea
The idea behind the compost tea that I am doing on a weekly basis, for now, is to kick start my soil and help add microorganisms such as bacteria, fungus, and many other great benefits to the soil.
I have not started these as I am hoping to start seeing the cover crop first to help keep the organisms in the soil and not let the top dry out as easily.
The tea I will be using for these plants and the other I got in veg is based upon this Vermiacast foiler spray with some added touch in veg like adding alfalfa.
