I visited a dispensary to save some bread and it turns out to be two-time winner of Best Dispensary in Massachusetts! I bought weed to review. The timeline of marijuana legislation in the United States sparked an interest. This weekend, I'll get high and over the week, I'll explore the drug's past. The visit to the local dispensary would not have happened, had I not moved to the neighboring state, Connecticut. I typically do not visit Springfield, even if that's where the Basketball Hall of Fame is.
A Smoker's Past
In my adolescence, I wasn't a user. I would consume cannabis on occasion with my long-time friend, mentor-in-photography, Chris. I couldn't be a user with a handful of tokes in a year, no?
It would be the stint in university dormitories that hooked me. Chiefly, Jared made smoking synonymous with culture. he might add more details, but this guy smoked since he was 16. He had experience making it look cool. He cooked, drove a car freshman year on campus, and drank like a camel. We mellowed out in his car, picked up food and came back to watch things like Game of Thrones on TV. We'd smoke after all the booze and politics of frat parties. Many times, he would introduce a joint on our trips to take photos.
The Dispensary Visit
So, a full-fledged consumer visited a new dispensary today only looking for bargain prices. To his surprise, the dispensary won distinctions for their dedication to service and quality. On Fridays, they let people come in and catch a whiff of the bud before they buy it!
Black-owned, family-owned, and woman-owned, 6Bricks, the dispensary, even employed four of the six family members at the location. Talk about an inclusive, progressive culture.
