AFRITUNES WEEK #35_Cover of "Sunan Yeah" by Adi Eze
Good day friends and family of hive and welcome to afritunes week 35. For my entry for week 35, I will be doing a cover of "Sunan Yesu" by Adi Eze.
"Sunan Yesu" is an Hausa word which means "The Name of The Lord". The song comprises of both the Hausa and English language, it tells us how mighty is the name of the Lord and what it could do to a man when He calls The name of the Lord. A lot of times when trouble seems to overwhelm the children of God the only option is calling upon the name of the Lord and the word of God says "At the mention of His name (Jesus) every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus is Lord". So we have seen how mighty is Gods name. I hope you enjoy my entry.
Lyrics of "Sunan Yeah"
Chorus
Gado nane (is my inheritance)
Sunar Yesu (the name Jesus)
Taimako na (is my help)
Sunar Yesu (the name Jesus)
Nasara nane (is my victory)
Sunar Yesu Mai tsarki (the name Jesus is a holy name)
Verse:
The name of the Lord is a strong tower
The righteous run in and are saved
He gave it to me as an inheritance
So I could make warfare with it
