AFRI-TUNES WEEK #10|| AN AFRO REPRESENTATION OF "GIRLS LIKE YOU" BY MAROON 5 FT CARDI B

Greetings my people!! How una dey nah?! I know say no qualms!!!

Yes oo, it's Hive account@magicfingerz here again on this prestigious platform where we share, experience and celebrate the African music!

I remain ever grateful to the founder ksam and equally his team and co-founders Hive account@starstrings01 and obaro whoose efforts have availed us this opportunity!!

Yes! This week as we all know it is a special one where we are encouraged to compose or represent a hipop song in an African way! In other words to give it an African vibe 😅

To that effect I present to all an African representation of a popular hipop song by Maroon 5 and our very own rap goddess, Cardi B with the tittle, "girls like you".

In essence I used an afro styled percussion by Jerome keys, to create an afro beat foundation for the song. After that I played my guitar with an afro quasi muting and arpeggio style in other to give an ambience of afro melody.
So sit back, relax and give me your thoughts about it.
