Hello my people. I welcome you all to Afritunes week 69, my name still remains . Happy new month to you all. This week, I will be doing a cover of the song "Oghene Doh" by Frank Edward. His songs are really inspiring and this particular one is not exempted so I hope you like the song.
Oghene Doh is a song of Thanksgiving. It means giving thanks to God. This song helps me to express how I feel for everything the lord has done for me and my family. The song came through my mind on the 1st of this month and here I am presenting it.
What inspires me in this song is the faithfulness of God. God has been so so faithful to me and my family. Whenever we pray he hears us. Whenever I call him he is always there. He gives a listening ear to my cries, worries and problems and then he solves them one after the other. Others might not come but he definitely hears it and at his right and appropriate time, he answers them all.
From January uptill the month of July he has kept to his word and promise. Evey day I sleep and I wake up safe and sound, healthy and hearty, strong and agile. People sleep and they do not wake up. People die everyday and things are happening to people here and there but in all of these, God has been faithful.
What about the clothes I wear? The food? The shelter he gives? The protection and everything. Most times, I derail and make mistakes. I even do the things which he does not like and has commanded me not to do yet, he still favours me and he still keeps me alive. I am not ungrateful and I don't take it for granted.
On the 1st of this month, a pastor's picture was all over social media. People were asking God why and saying things about how good the man was. Guess what? He kicked the bucket. It was so painful π£π I do not know him, I have never been to his church before but from everything people said, the man was good and I was touched π₯² I am not better than that man who died, he served the lord and he walked on his footsteps yet, he died leaving his family behind.
I was like God, why do you love me this much? So my brethrens and sistrens, God's love dey worry me and I know that as I know my name.
See you all next week.
ππ€ Thank you for stopping by π€π
