Afritunes week 18 Cover of Abokina by Gwills Good day friends and family of Afritunes I am here with a cover of "Abokina" by Gwills. Abokina is a Hausa word which simply means "My Friend" in English. This is really a great song I've learned for a long time and never get tired of singing it. Nigeria has a country comprises of different languages but the most notifiable is the Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba language of which the Afritunes community comprises of all this tribes and with one voice of harmony we are one. I am not Hausa but I understand the language to some limit and can comprehend when people speak the language. Gwills is a Nigerian Gospel Artist blessed with so much musical talent, he plays the guitar basically but can still attempt beautifully other Instruments. Abokina is a gospel song which means my friend, so Gwills is calling God as his friend in this music and I also believe God is my friend. I hope you enjoy my entry
