Gosh everything is so "higgledypiggledee" with mine and Aime's birthday celebrations happening simultaneously, so although Aime's birthday was last week on the 28th, We only got a chance to celebrate it properly as a family last night.
Also, TBH, Zak and I were so damn tired there was no way we were cooking!
so Magic Pizza is where we get our favourite pizzas from.
I've posted about these guys before and they do a special deal which is two single topping pizzas (they all come with cheese, don't worry 😜) for R180. It was R150, but you know... once the word spread and they were overwhelmed with customers they put their prices up a little. That's fair enough. So we bought 3 deals = 6 pizzas.
The problem when buying takeout anywhere is that we have 5 people in our family! Most family deals are either designed for couples, 4 people or 6 people etc. So we always go for the bigger option its not like the spares won't be eaten! Lol!
So Zak and I whizzed off to get some groceries and managed to keep the pizzas a secret till the last minute!! We also jus happened to have a bunch of avos that only had a day left/ were almost over-ripe so that was a bonus! I love avo on pizza! There were four avos and they covered all pizzas perfectly. Aime doesn't like avo so I got to eat all her avo as well! Muahahahaha 😜😂

I also made a ton of cupcakes last week and had left over batter
so I made heart shaped cupcakes! I covered them with some of the remaining icing I had left - pink - and the idea was to drizzle them elegantly with melted chocolate. That didn't work out so well and I just ended up spooning the chocolate on top in any way it would stick as the icing was melting due to the hot melted chocolate. Lol. The candles were great though! They all had flames that were the same colour as the candles! Purple shone purple, green shone green, red shone red and so on.
They were so good I didn't even have time to take photos of the end product! We devoured them even though we'd eaten at least an entre pizza each, but as says, there's always a dessert stomach!
and I all looked about months pregnant as we waddled up the stairs to sleep!
