The thing so many people find terrifying about Mondays is that it knocks us back to the hustle and bustle of life. It's like a wake-up call to the fact that you have tons of things that have to be done. In some cases, the activities you have to face may be so complex, you will find it hard to make head or tail of the whole situation.
In addition to that, it has become fairly obvious that not everyone knows how to achieve as much as possible within a limited period of time. This is fundamentally why it's never a surprise to see people get grumpy about Mondays.
Not me though. Haha. I can't recall the last time I felt grumpy about Mondays. Instead, my Mondays usually start with my mind yelling at me like crazy. It says;
Make hay while the sun shines.
That's a poor paraphrase of the stuff that goes through my mind when I wake up, but it's a nice summary.
You know what?
There is a real push that comes from having that on my mind.
Just before going to bed last night, I roughly made a list of the things I will do today. Immediately I woke up, I got started with those stuff on the list. There is an undeniable feel-good flair that comes from ticking each of the things on my to-do list.
What about y'all?
Do you draft a daily or weekly to-do list?
At this point, I can't help but imagine that having a to-do list is one of the things that so many people are not very good at doing.
I didn't fancy it at a certain point in my worklife, but the entire trajectory of my life is changing and I've found that working with a to-do list of some sort can be very helpful.
It makes me more focused on the tasks I have for each day and makes it easier to set my priorities straight. It's not just a Monday thing. I tend to work with a to-do list for most of each week and I have loads of good things to say about the positives attached to having that.
Are you scared of facing each day due to the tons of workload on your table? How about working with a to-do list?
If you do it well, it can crate a lasting solution to your confusion.
