Another Cold Day at Work
Hey everybody. Just some pictures here for everybody that wants to see how Cape Town Harbour looks and a bit of Table Mountain. It's an extremely cold day once more. This winter is actually colder than I've experienced in living memory, and quite a lot of people are telling me the same thing.
Incidentally, or probably because of this, our staff attendance has been the lowest this winter. There's been a massive outbreak of flu, coronavirus, H1N1 (swine flu), and quite a lot of people have been on and off sick throughout this winter. It's been very difficult.
We are past the winter solstice, so we're starting to see the sun earlier and earlier in the day and later and later into the evening again. For all of you in the northern hemisphere, you're probably experiencing the reverse of that. Sorry for you, but I need my sun back now, thank you very much.
