We never wanted this war...
Who's "we"?
You should talk on behalf of the 12000 dead in Donbass, on the rebel side. They don't have a voice, and they didn't attack Ukraine, but Ukraine waged war on them. You think their families and friends are heard in Ukraine, in the West, do they even have a voice? Did the people in Odessa who got chased as they fled the pro mobilization protesters who cornered and barricaded them in a building before setting it on fire killing who knows how many, stabbing and beating the charred protesters who fell from the flaming building, were they for War? Did they want war? Why is there still no justice for them? In Mariupol they claimed the protesters had or threw Molotov cocktails, as the excuse for that civilian massacre, then they just denied report after report of war crimes, denied indiscriminate bombings, denied targeting of civilians, and businesses, infrastructure, utilities, city centers, schools, kindergartens, as the militants sent to replace the army who got turned around by the protesters used civilians as shields and used schools and kindergartens as bases to wage war from, as they pillaged, raped, and executed civilians. No one wants to hear them, no one wants to look at that, 8 years, 12000 dead on the rebel side, that's the war, you claim nobody wanted.
