The video I am publishing is one of many I shot in Burma. This is the so-called raw material without any processing, which has not been published anywhere before. It depicts an evening walk around the Shwendagon temple complex. The place is unbelievably beautiful, especially in the evening when all the buildings are illuminated. Although there were a lot of tourists, the place captivated.

When traveling around Asia, my destination on the map has always been Burma, now Myanmar, which is the proper name for this country. For many years, this country was inaccessible to tourists, and when it opened up to tourism, people were reluctant to go there. The main reason was military rule, which has a bad image and does not give the impression of security and stability.
W podróżach po Azji moim celem na mapie zawsze była Birma, obecnie Myanmar, czyli nazwa właściwa dla tego kraju. During the period when I visited Burma, the political situation in this country was relatively stable, only a small part of the territory was closed to tourism, but these were mainly regions to which we had no intention of going.

Szwendagon is a huge complex of temples and pagodas that are mainly covered with gold paint. Even though several tons of gold were used to decorate the temples, most of the buildings are decorated only with imitation gold, which does not change the fact that it makes an amazing impression.
