Okay, this will be totally different from everything you've seen so far on my blog, I try to keep to myself and avoid getting involved too much in matters that nobody has asked me about. However, consider the other side; what have I got to lose?
Today's society is divided, especially when it comes to state institutions that frequently forget their mission—to provide for the needs of citizens—or, if they do, provide care that is minimal and wholly inadequate for what is now thought to be normal life. This post is not about me, and I'll make an effort to keep it that way, but it is directly related to how I currently live: without a own roof over my head.
It is unnecessary to emphasize how important it is to have a home, shelter, sanctuary.
I have all the gray hair I have because I've been responsible for paying rent since I was 19 years old. Unluckily, I never qualified for a loan, and given where I live, I wouldn't even dare. A large item that I had to provide every month both when I had work and when I didn't, it's still a huge burden for me. I still like to stroll the streets, inspect the homes, and decide in my head which one I would like to call home. At the same time, I pass by a number of opulent homes that are vacant and in poor condition. If I had a spare home, I would give it away for free rent and safekeeping.
The main inspiration behind these posts is , who I think the majority of you are familiar with. I don't follow him directly, but I frequently see his sponsored posts, and then I occasionally look at his profile. As of the last time I checked, he neither had a home nor the means to support himself. Being alone is not pleasant at all!
It's possible that he is a little lazy as well, but I'm not going to judge.
(no offense)
After the mission, he had to use his HBD savings to purchase a car for the winter so he could escape the cold. However, since the winter lasts much longer than 3–4 months and the car only provides a place to sleep under cover, it is important to keep in mind that this is not a practical solution.
Fortunately, he was able to locate a home where he could live with his bird, though I wouldn't exactly call it a home.
Whenever I read through his posts, especially the ones about the house and the bird, I frequently experience a sense of hopelessness. I can't speak for him because I don't stand in his shoes.
*I can give you some ideas on how to prepare as much as possible for the winter, I can ask the #hive community to step in and support you by voting this beneficiary post, but what I am asking from you is to move, grab a hammer, nails and make yourself windows the way you know best.
At the same time, make a photos of the progress, post them in community, two birds with one stone.
Just a little bit of effort.
By the way, I had been debating whether or not to write this post for three days when showed up with his comment and, in a sense, supported my intention.
Then I used Google to look up Hungarian material stores and compare prices for laths, nylon, and nails. I found .Practiker, materials and tools store, they deliver at the same time, and I saw that they also have a store in Szolnok.
(If I'm not mistaken, it seems to me that this is the nearest town)
A meter of nylon in Praktiker costs 2,099ft

I used a currency converter, also a possible variation depending on the exchange rate.
I have no idea how much surface area needs to be secured, but the currency converter indicates that this is almost 5$ per square meter.
, correct me if I am wrong.
Because Google used to be too literal, I spent an excruciating amount of time trying to find the Hungarian word for nails.

WIRE NAIL 2X40MM 100GR
Product satisfaction:
SB WIRE NAILS 20X40 100G
HUF 659 Savings: HUF 132
Valid: 24.10.2022 - 30.11.2022.
HUF 527 / box
I found these, and while I'm not sure if the nail sizes are appropriate for hammering, the prices are generally not horrifying, dont know how much needed, , please step in and count what needed.
1,25$ = 100 gr
Last but not least, the hammer.

They claim 200gr, and I have thus far used the same thing. With a couple of stronger swings, it does its job.
Cost 4.77$

Okay, these are the basics. In my visions, the windows may or may not have frames, either way it can be protected, wont say fixed.
Whatever the case may be, dear , I am presently unable to assist you in any meaningful way. However, I also fully understand what means when the consolation you receive is insufficient because they merely are unable to fix your issue, which is not at all naive. But use that support as a mental support, believe me its important.
You might also need a few more tools and door hinges, so feel free to ask a family member for assistance, such as your brother. I'm hoping that this post will be heard loud enough to make it for a few good thick blankets.
Additionally, I believe that thicker materials are reasonably priced and can be found in any hardware store.
Attach the material above with a few nails to the inside of the door and window. It will help as an additional isolation.
Life is eternal fuck, sometimes intense, sometimes you likes it, not that I have all my shits gathered together, nor I would like this post to be taken as something offensive. Take is as a open wake up call, you however participated into the challenge, right?
Well maybe you didn't won that one, but there are plenty of others. Use the chance you are given, okay not chance I bet you aren't given many, cause life is mfucker.
Calculator said 11.01$ ( for 1m nylon, one hammer, 100gr nails)
Due to an error in mixing currencies, the post has been edited.
I'm not promising any amount, I'm sure we'll collect at least for the door ;) Whatever it is,
is 100% beneficiary, I will set the award at 50:50, so part of the funds will be available faster.
Officially the longest post on Hive I ever wrote, everyone are welcome with their suggestions and ideas. But we already know who is the main character here to make it happen.
Thank you for reading, your time is highly appreciated, if up for some action - reblogg.
