I'm pleased to say that we've finally sold our car and have officially moved out of our house in Kaduna. We are now officially homeless and will be moving back to our parents' soon.
It has been a tedious couple of days on the road but so far so good, things are going according to plan. The traveling isn't over yet though as we are going to be making a couple of stops throughout the South of the country.
Right now, we're lodged at a moderately proceed hotel in Abuja that will enable us to easily access the airport. The plan is to get to Port Harcourt where we'll meet up with Karina and my nephews.
So far so good, things have been going according to our script and hopefully, this will be the case throughout the journey.
The hardest part of the whole movement is moving around with all this luggage. I'd prefer to travel as light as possible but considering that we're completely relocating, it really can't be helped.
Our trip to Port Harcourt will be lighter than the international trip but our return to Abuja and henceforth will be extremely tedious. Fortunately for us, this hotel we've found will make the process a bit easier.
Seeing the family
I have to admit, I'm pretty excited to meet the family. It's been a bit over two years since I saw everyone, so it'll be very emotional.
Our mums have been really anxious about our movement and despite our best attempts to calm them down, they still keep blowing our phones. WHenever they all and we don't pick up, they start panicking, which as you can imagine can be very annoying.
In any case, it's all positive energy from our end and from our loved ones. We're going to be at the South pretty soon, eating Southern food and soaking it all in.
