At the end of my shift, there's always a flock of Seagulls flying over the bustop. The sight of those Seagull at the end of my shift makes me envious of birds.
Birds have it easy. They simply wake up, take to sky and look for their daily sustenance in the crudest of ways possible. I wonder if I'd actually survive if humanity went back to our primordial inklings but I digress.
The point is, I'm jealous of these damn birds because they can go wherever they want to. It's an ability that I would greatly appreciate, particularly at the end of my shift where I wait for the first of two busses for a 2 hour trip.
To be honest, I think the most frustrating part about the trip is the fact that I have to spend roughly 30 minutes waiting for the busses that I'll use. Birds would simply flap their delicious wings and go where they want to be.
Have you thought about what freedom tastes like? Whenever you eat a bird, you're almost tasting it because let face it, you're probably eating a flightless bird.
Whenever you eat Chicken and Turkey, you're eating a bird that's not living up to it's potential. I'm not really sure that's something you should be putting in your body. Then again, they taste really good, so we could forgive their iniquities.
If you're thinking of eating a bird from a purely philosophical point of view, you should totally eat Duck. Ducks can do just about anything and on top of that, I hear their meat tastes really good.
If you're not eating duck, maybe try eating a Seagull. I want to taste what that bird's freedom tastes like m, chicken and turkey are boring, underwhelming birds that don't use their feathers right.
Now the only issue is actually catching a Seagull is catching a Seagull is not an easy task and I'm not equipped for that. Also, the legality surrounding actually catching and eating the bird is also another question.
There's very little chance I'll find it at a restaurant and the closest I've seen to Seagull meat is when Chelsea beat Brighton in the Carabao Cup.
