Yesterday I was going too quickly and didn’t realize something. Oops!
Attention Economy
One of the things that’s most evident nowadays is that our attention span is precious and finite for sure. When we get too busy with things we don’t end up paying attention to the fine details and that becomes a problem.
While I didn’t perform a cardinal sin, I did make two mistakes this week! Lol. None of them are anything serious but it goes to show what happens when we go too quickly and don’t slow down and smell the roses sometimes.
I try to put all of my posts in a community because I like to garner attention to them and promote some activity. It’s not always the best but I enjoy it. It kind of gives me a theme for my post besides the pictures I take throughout the day and week. If I don’t have a theme I’ll throw some random stuff together but I do like to theme the posts. I forgot to do that with one yesterday! Lol. I saw it and was immediately annoyed but on the blockchain there’s nothing you can do about that once it’s posted. Ah well, just my own personal grievance with that.
The other thing that I’ve never done before is post twice in one day and entirely on accident lol. I’ve been busy at work lately, well always it seems. Not the worst problem to have for sure but it causes some sloppiness here and there. I was trying to churn out a post or two to schedule before I started work and I didn’t remember that I scheduled two posts, one for the day and one for the following day the following day came and my post schedule time arrived, but at the same time I was also working on another post I wanted to drop in the natural medicine community! They enjoy the garden journals and we have a nice little garden going so I like to post about. I saw the notifications that I had pending in my account for stuff but I figured they were for comments so I ignored it for a few minutes, finished my post in NM and posted it. I looked at the notifications and realized I had posted already! Damn lol. Had to come up with something else to talk about for another day! Well this little rant is fun so not a huge deal for that. I also got to use the picture of the bunny just chilling out on the grass, like a little boss. I’ve never seen them lay down like that in the wild it was pretty funny. He wasn’t phased by us walking by so maybe he just got done banging the missus a little bit lol he was in euphoria.
