Okay so yesterday after a very hectic day at the mill I was so tired from work, on my way home, there’s this local restaurant just by the road side I’ve been longing to try but the chances weren’t too favorable, but then today I was opportune to stop by and have a treat
Since I came here I’ve observed the a way of life with the locals here which is synonymous to the word and settings of a village “indeed” 😂
Yah but then there was something different about this place
When I stepped in and placed my order and just about to go to the rest room, a middle aged lady approached me with a worried look on her face and asked me “please sir what do you want” I just smiled at her and said. “Don’t worry I’ve already placed my order ma”
Then I was back and in less than a minute I was served a very delicious meal, but that is not the point
I’ve been observing these local restaurants for a while now and the way things are done is actually impressive I must say, some of the very notable things around here’s that differs from the rest of others doing the same type of business here is very similar to that I’ve been it was in the city centers
The sound was great and I was vibing to the cool music bursting out the stereo speakers, I actually felt awesome while enjoying my meal, then I was done, I literally have to stay extra 30minutes watching the middle age lady and an electrician trying to install a Christmas light and a multicolored display light bulb, fixing all the Christmas decorations and lights making the ambiance of the interior look and feels great
So there I was about to step out then I called the middle aged lady out side and I told her
>”excuse me ma I really love what you’re doing here, it tells me you understand business unlike these village people, yours is different, well I hope you pay your workers well”
meanwhile all this time she looked sternly at me nodding at every interval afterwords she thanked me so much and I left
Guess what those less than a minute of a conversation would do to her mood at the time and the feedback system in her would do; scream for a job well done. It’s like accomplishing a mission and aiming her for more mountains, of course her little horses inside her would be screaming for joy 😂
Deep down I know what that has done, sparking that little bit of light there was necessary, she’s really doing well and I had to compliment her effort, I know with that spark of confident I’m pretty sure she will up her game and be ready for the influx of customers at her local spot this Xmas
It was that feeling and her smile for me as I worked passed her
