Yo ranters,
I have been noticing something over the past week that really isn't all that important, but I can't stop thinking about the logistics of it; and given I know no HIVErs in the real world, I didn't know how to vocalize this question(or thought, rant, I don't know, call it what you want); that is until I remembered the RCT community.
Who the fuck is 
What am I talking about?
Has anyone else noticed this? The random downvotes. I'd say about 30% of the posts that pop up for me have a single downvote. Of course, these are usually on quality, non-plagiarized, non-offensive posts.. so my curiosity gets the best of me and I check it out every time.
EVERY SINGLE ONE of these downvotes is by the same pointless bot(?) account. Sunsetjesus. 25 rep. Zero posts. Zero comments. Zero anything. .06% downvote manna... that's a lot of god damn downvotes.
And, being the petty person I am, I had to look into him(I'm assuming, given "Jesus") a little more. This fool is investing money into the platform to downvote. His HP is twice what mine is, which is very small, to be sure; but looking through his wallet I realized that he actually has a SECOND account 
What is the purpose of this? Like, what is there to gain in investing money just to hate on people? Is this a form of jealousy? If it is, he's not doing it very well; he downvotes so much that his weight makes zero difference. The only effect this is having on the downvoted posts is the little broken heart symbol underneath.
Additionally, do people receive curation rewards from downvoting? He does get a fair amount of curation rewards, daily.
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS? I was especially flabbergasted when I found out he was investing and powering up, and also using two accounts to do so. Can anyone explain this to me!? Is this a rich(enough to be wasting money), bored person who has disdain for the blockchain? Or a troll who just likes to ruffle people's feathers? An "investor" who for some reason is trying to use his investment to shit on others unsuccessfully? Any of the options of who he is; does he understand the voting system whatsoever? Does he know his downvotes could be weighted more heavily with more manna? Is he just going through random communities and downvoting as many as he can? WHAT IS GOING ON HERE!?
I know he's not the only one- he's just been the most present one I've seen recently. I hope he sees the mention and drops by to add some more. If it's not just automated.

That's my rant this hour. If I ranted in here as much as I did to myself y'all would probably be downvoting me too ;)
