My friend asks, "You wake up one morning, and realize everyone on earth has vanished and it's just you. What would be your next series of action?"
I don't know why I found it funny but I dropped a response, "Lol. Me that literally lives well without everyone else 🤣".
This morning I found out he already answered, "Nobody can live without another. It's just a lie we tell ourselves😏".
I laughed hard but then begin to wonder if there is some element of truth in what he was saying. Maybe, we have been made to believe we can live without other people and we do it every day of our lives and we must have forgotten that even the Almighty knew it wasn't going to work if the first man lived alone so he created Eve for him.
Although Eve brought disaster to the entire world, I do not want to talk about this part. I am mostly interested in the fact that our All-knowing Father, was clearly trying to pass a message when he created Eve out of the ribs of Adam for him.
He made him a companion. One he could talk to and share things with. And now, I agree with my friend, it's really a lie that we tell ourselves to feel better.

I remember one movie I saw a few weeks ago, a young man returns to meet his Ex, and while they try to rekindle their love, the girl was bent on sacrificing what they had on the altar of achievements and reaching the top. The guy tried to explain to her that he had gotten to the top and it's very lonely there because you will want to share something with someone, upon turning you will realize you got to the top alone and there is no one to share your excitement with.
She did not believe him. She thought he probably was trying to convince her to give up her dreams again for his sake as she had been doing in the past until her grandma snapped her out of it. Well, she did get to the top, and she did find it lonely. In one of those scenes, she wanted to share something exciting about her social media fans, but she turned to say it to a being, only to realize she wasn't with anyone but herself.

So, in a real sense, we need other people in our lives, and even though we might be focused on getting to the top, we shouldn't forget to bring someone along, at least something we can share our excitement with. Believe me, being anonymous is lonely because I can't even share exciting things that happen to me on the chain with an external person except for friends I have on Hive. It is less lonely and I don't feel it much because sometimes I share them as posts and the burden of being alone is shredded into pieces and I feel free.
Realizing this, what would I do if I woke up to no one on earth? I will definitely think rapture happened... Lol. And I might start crying and asking God for forgiveness so I don't get left behind alone ... Hehehehe
