Ordered a new blender because our old one lacked the power in breaking thick ice, now that my order from shoppee online arrived, upon checking, we received a broken item, my mother was disappointed because we waited for a week just to get a damaged item.
well... from my observation, the packaging wasn't well wrapped too, I see holes in the wrappers which the box can be seen, I asked the delivery guy about it and he just said "These things happen but the items inside are okay" no shit,
well, I just shrugged it off and wished I won't fall victim to this damaged bullshit again, sadly, my thoughts were right about it, I'm beginning to get stressed out about handling these returns and refund situation since I experienced a seller who wasn't cooperating with me before, and I don't want that to happen again because arguing with irrational sellers are too much of a hassle, Imagine that seller offering 2 dollars over a 20 dollar damage flip phone like wtf? how absurd, if you ask why I bought a flip phone, my mom asked me to buy one since she wanted an easy-carry phone, I swear I'll never order those old phones online, anyways I was just thankful for shoppee customer support that they took my side, well they should! since the sellers were being unreasonable.
anyways, going back to the main topic, If you ask me why I'm overthinking the situation I'm in right now, it's because! the seller guided me of something that looks like If I click a mistake it will turn to the option of ordered received which I can no longer take back, but instead of following the seller's instruction, I went to the delivery hub suggested by the app and returned the item immediately.
I have bubble wraps in stock so I added mine before putting the original wrapper of the seller, to secure the item even more with a thick layer, so the seller won't do any dramas that I didn't take good care of their item, I don't wanna get defeated by our soon settlement in shoppee court shit, I don't know what's it called but they let you chat with the seller while the customer support is around to observe, to see whose side they'll take,
I'm just thankful I have a printer at home so I can print the return details given to me in email because it would be a hassle to go outside and have it printed like I have to spend on fare if I didn't! but then I'm using my printer's ink and paper too! 😆 not to mention my electricity and time! joke! Nah, it's bad to calculate those things, I'm not that bad of a person, small efforts like this are okay as long as things go my way after this, but if not! imma be using my wrath!

I know in some cases the couriers are at fault with how they handle their deliveries, but as an experienced shoppee seller, knowing those concerns, I always put serious thought into my packaging, I'd put 2-3 layers of bubble wrap depending on the items, but this seller just wrapped it in a 1 layer of bubble wrap, like hello? your item is a blender for Christ's sake! there's no foam inside it too! it's just a box and the blender inside, anyways,
I just wish those cargos would take the fragile sign on the box more seriously, *sigh
Despite knowing those situations on both sides and understanding them, I just wish my money will return, hell it's 20.5 dollars! we're not pooping money here!
