Hello Hive Fam! đź‘‹
Today has been one of those days that really tests patience and resilience. My main work-from-home essential—my personal laptop—suddenly stopped functioning after a series of intermittent power interruptions. The frustration hit me hard because my freelancing and online work got compromised in an instant.
Without my laptop, I felt stuck, disappointed, and honestly overwhelmed. But instead of just sulking, I turned to my other side hustles that can be managed through my mobile phone. I answered surveys, watched dramas, and tried to squeeze out every possible way to keep funds flowing. Relaxing wasn’t an option—I need to keep moving forward, especially now.
Since my father passed away a few months ago, the weight of responsibility has grown heavier. I know I need to work harder, and freelancing has become my path. Leaving my corporate job after more than a decade was a bold move, but I have no regrets. That chapter of my life was filled with sleepless nights, endless commutes, and exhaustion. Now, even with setbacks like today, I value the freedom and flexibility freelancing gives me.
This laptop crash reminded me that challenges will always come, but so will opportunities—if we’re willing to adapt.
Thank you, Hive Fam, for reading my rant and reflections. Your support means a lot, and sharing here helps lighten the load.
