Hello dear users! Sometimes we have no answers for some situations where humans act inhumanely against the weakest. From afar I saw an iguana and with great joy I wanted to show my grandchildren, and try to explain what these reptiles do, letting my imagination fly, my biggest surprise was when we approached it was dead. I felt very sorry for this iguana and for his adversary, who always has the advantage. Its confident demeanor may cause some fear, but not to the extreme of killing it.
Reflecting a little on the human-animal relationship, it is very unfortunate and worrying to see how, on many occasions, humans show behaviors towards more vulnerable species, such as an iguana. this is an abuse from wherever we look at it, it is a great lack of empathy for the life that surrounds us.
Many people have as their main idea the abuse towards some species, as they cannot defend themselves, they make them easy targets. This leaves much to think about the responsibility as the dominant species on the planet. We must take care of them, that's all.
We must have more empathy, be a little more compassionate. To have moral responsibility, it is fundamental to educate ourselves, to respect the animal world. Reflecting on our actions can be the first step
to make positive changes in our relationship with animals. My grandchildren in their innocence said that I was asleep.
Until another opportunity friends...
