She is 62 yet immature she has been labeled bad and looked down on by her neighbors. She has been pregnant for long now and all await her delivery day. We all wonder what will be born, oh my Naija the land of promise the land after God's heart the land that has faced many challenges and yet striving strong as if all is well. On a serious note even if I were to be born the second time I will still choose to be born in Nigeria if you like you believe this or not but that's how much I love my country.
Most times I wonder how this country has been able to exist till now. We have more than 300 languages only in Nigeria but unity and love still coexist among citizens. We know some countries that have only one language still fight amongst themselves to the extent the country is either divided or size to exist.
Some time ago on the 1st of October a great nation gain its independence a nation that I was born and raised the giant and pride of Africa. This nation grows from childhood to adulthood despite all the challenges it faces every day. It has been thriving strong and standing tall.
Me and my fellow Nigerian brothers and sisters and have seen and overcome a lot of challenges that were capable of destroying our dear nation the indefatigable spirit we all have made us overcome all the challenges before we know it, A nation with numerous ethnic groups still united up to date is a topic on its own.
God has been behind our successes as a nation. We have been labeled as top 3 most corrupt countries and also the top 5 poorest countries in the world but despite this, we still strive as a nation and scale through all odds year after year. Even though we the citizens have been so bling to know what or who they want as Their leader we have been misled by some past leaders.
Am using this medium to reach out to the few I can, and plead with you all to come out in your numbers, and let's vote for the right man to lead us to come 2023. Let us shun bribery and vote for the right man stop collecting money for a vote (vote buying) you are selling your future to the hands of a bad government we are gonna suffer the heat the most when it starts coming the right time to act is now. Take brief research on the presidential candidates and make your preferred choice not by vote buying but by accountability and good records.
Nigeria youth please shun anyone who will pay you off to steal election materials on the day of elections enough is enough we should never t let ourselves get carried away by all Their promises, let us give the leadership to someone who will be able to drive us to the destination we all want and pray for an everyday vote right. One nation bound in freedom peace and unity.
Nigeria is blessed with a lot of natural resources and exotic tourist sites that when you visit you will not ever feel like going back. Not to talk of the beautiful cultural heritage of all the ethnic groups we are accommodating we love foreigners and are open to foreign investors. But the only thing which we lack is good government our past and present governments are or lead us to where we don't know it seems as if we are moving back instead of forward and this alone Is our big fear. this is why I plead with the youth to do what is right next year.
I celebrate with the people of China on Their anniversary China has been a strong support to the Nigerian economy. We have strong mutual trust and this has been a big honor we the Nigerian citizens celebrate with you all. China has always been my dream nation and I pray one day this dream of mine will be fulfilled.
