I had a pathetic experience today. In fact, I can't get it off my head because it keeps replaying on my head. I went to a co-operative meeting that i and my husband belonged to. The meeting was over and we headed back home.
On our way back, we saw this jeep driven by an elderly man. A boy was crossing the road with a dog, but the dog is quite a little distance away from the boy. The next thing I saw was that the dog was hit by the Jeep. As we were all shouting, the driver ran the dog over 😯😯😯.
I shouted and grab my husband so tight as the dog was struggling with its life. The man saw my expression and was wondering, the little boy that led the dog, out of confusion shouted and ran straight to the car that hit the dog and ran back . The driver stopped and came down from the car not fully aware of what was happening, then he saw the dog on the ground struggling with its life. He was so surprised and confused with his expression which shows that he didn't take note of the dog crossing the road.
The mother of the boy that owns the dog now realised what was going on and ran out from her shop straight to where the dog was lying, grabbed the dog not knowing what to do, she shouted and cried calling the dog, telling her not to leave her puppies that she had just given birth to. Immediately the dog gave up. I cried, everyone there cried, it was an emotional situation . At that moment I brought out my phone and took few pictures of the lifeless dog😭😭😭😭😭.

Then the father of the boy, came out. It looks like they are staying in a compound around the road there. And the mother is selling in a shop in front of their house. So the father blamed the little boy for having led the dog out. He went further lamenting that the dog just gave birth yesterday, how will they take care of the puppies. Hearing that broke me down again.
It was a sad experience, a very pathetic one for me today. I asked my husband why such a thing should happen in the first place, he did not only hit the dog, but he ran it over why? 'Because he was not focused' my husband replied. 'Did you not notice that he was not even aware that he had hit something and ran the thing over? He was absent minded'.

Then a woman that saw me crying asked me what's the reason. After wasting my time explaining to her, she responded by saying, so I'm crying because of ordinary dog! I became furious, I asked her, a life was lost and you stood here and call it ordinary dog? I mean, what is wrong with some human, some are not fit to be called human beings. I was so angry with the woman that my husband dragged me away from her presence.
I'm still yet to recover from the shock, so I decided to share my experience with you. Because they said a problem shared is half solve. I didn't wait to see the conclusion of the matter. What is the best way you think the matter should be settled? Should the man pay for the dog? Just let me know in the comment section.
This is . Thank you all for stopping by.
