Not that I didn't feel like showing up today, it's just that it seems I have finally reached the saturation point with my ideas to write a post. A few days ago I said I was feeling like I was in a moment where I didn't really need to have a topic, I just needed to start typing and my fingers would automatically churn out a decent enough post for me. That lucky juice seems to have started finally running low and I need a refill.
I am not sure what the best next course of action is. It is ironic, given that in my professional work, I get asked by my professors on a daily basis what the next best course of action is for the patient !
The thought of finally taking a break after having written tirelessly for 33 days straight (37 if you're merciful enough to excuse the one day missed in between!) did cross my mind today. But that "feel good" vibe of ticking another day off the calendar with a post on my blog was hard to ignore. Also, somehow the days I felt there would be no post coming and I forced myself to churn something out were the posts that contributes the most in my account growth - so there's that lol!
Funny thing is, when I sat down to start writing this post, the community I selected was the "sports talk social." I can't remember why I selected the sports community, I probably had vaguely thought of writing on the world cup again - it's a bit blurred along the edges! My fingers took me in a different direction.
Weekend starts tomorrow for us. We're in for one hell of a weekend it seems. We better! Just to make up for two days without world cup football at least. We start tomorrow with Brazil vs Croatia, which Brazil is expected to make easy work of. Should Brazil get their win, the match that follows - Argentina vs netherlands is going to be a very very, very, stressful couple of hours for the Argentina fans. And I will be watching it with my wife and believe you me, she will not let a single minute pass by without reminding me that Brazil has already gotten their win! Brazil fans can be cruel sometimes LOL!
And on Saturday Bangladesh take on India for the final match of the series with the allure of a 3-0 clean sweep up for grabs.
Oh, and on saturday we expect some major political unrest to go down in Dhaka, just a few Kilometers from where I live. No big deal!
