I wonder if the powers that be would have a critic of their approach sentenced to six months in prison. I don't even have enough money for the fines this one advocate of free speech had to pay. Hisham Kassem was sentenced for defaming former minister Kamal Abu Eita. I try to keep my observations to the point, thus, I cannot fathom ever receiving a summons to court, yet, we live in a world where anything can happen.
Mark Cuban lost nearly a million dollars in a hack and doesn't even know how.
How can anyone be expected to participate in crypto at this stage, let alone memecoin governance? Where speaking out gets you jailed in some cases and whales are losing value without a care, I don't see a way right now for one of my affiliated projects: $TURBO.
The problem is that prioritization has been completely swayed by others' "middle management". We split hairs over every detail. We're worse than overzealous wedding planners, worried about whether the napkins match the dinner plates. Eggshell or taupe is irrelevant when there are five elected officials to prompt one AI model about the desires of a 4 month-old project.
Someone today said AI is writing their Twitter content. Take a look at this. I believe that the large language models are better than this. This feels user-generated.
The priorities should be
A small list sums up what's needed and fast for this memecoin.
- a revenue stream
- community engagement
But we're worried about Discord structure. Aren't there bigger fish to fry?
Having problems with revenue
No one's got a better idea than posting on $HIVE nor has anyone made any money with their ideas. While a lack of alternative does not make an option better, it perhaps speaks to the difficulty of organizing another decentralized method for earning. Why reinvent the wheel then? My journey to onboard members continues, slowly but surely. With successful onboarding, I await the day
finally welcomes the notion. Until then, I will champion it and singlehandedly bring home the bacon until the evidence unanimously suggests to join me, since they can't beat me.
Community Engagement
I believe isn't difficult, unless ego does not stand aside. Ask and ye shall receive. The same applies to community engagement. Inquire into their interests, then consume, ideate, create and amplify their interests and they will come. That framework is the brainchild of Sahil Bloom inarguably one of the top content creators of our time. If anyone has any better suggestions than him, please stand up. I'll pay you double what I did for him, for your time.
I would have thoughts every day for this community about my stupid participation in this memecoin. My participation and not the token is stupid. Some are surprised to read this. Here's why: I operate under the assumption that people involved in crypto are actually willing to use crypto to advance their goals. This isn't true. Even crypto users themselves are a rare breed of speculator. They will evangelize everything and anything, without even this smallest faith their projects hold any real value.
Rather than seeing is believing, I know real faith is action.
