I can totally relate. You must be African. This happens when my mom has to take public transport (but privately), as well. When my brother is with her, out of frustration for all the time spent under mostly scorching sun haggling, he just opts to pay. If I did that, she'll shout me down right there without a care in the world and tell me that's how we all throw money away. 😄
