, when I was thinking out loud about possibly buying more Bitcoin with my Hive, even though Hive just reached an even lower ( all time ) low, earlier today.
We were sitting in the bigger of the two bars in our borgo in Molise, Italy, having an occasional coffee. We felt we needed a bit of a break/ a breather after having spent a couple of days living and working on our land.
Yesterday, we worked about 6 to 7 hours in our garden, mostly focused on removing rovi/ brambles that had been growing over and around an old well on our land. A well that we hope will serve a purpose again in the near future.
The sun was shining and although the work was a bit hard, we enjoyed it thoroughly.
Last night was windy and we hardly slept. This morning it was grey, windy and a bit rainy and after breakfast, when we were about to make a coffee, we seemed to have ran out of gas.
Therefore, we decided to drive into the village to replace our gas bottle and get a coffee and some time out.
No matter how much we like to just be on our land, alone with nature and each other, to enjoy peace and quiet and use our muscles, we also need some 'real life' social time too, every now and then.
Comunque/ anyhow, if you closely follow the crypto markets, you will be aware of the fact that Bitcoin is also disappointingly low a bargain, these days.
it sure would help though if Hive was going up as I got more HIve than Bitcoin at the moment...
Infatti/ In fact, on a day like today, Clare and I are really happy that we found - and decided to buy - our plot of land, here in Molise, at the end of July last year. We weren't aware, back then, that Bitcoin was at the highest point in time ( aside from a brief spell, in October, where it reached around 125 thousand Usd ) up till now.
Or, to rephrase the aforementioned, we could not have bought our casetta and plot of land at any other point in time, since then.
Even though, right now, we are running a bit low on money/ abbiamo poci soldi, we have an abundance of so many things. Love, land, (fruit, nut, olive ) trees, edible greens, time, water and so on and so forth.
Not for the first time today, we are distracted by a couple of people. This time it's the ( wife of the ) owner of the bar and her daughter. They are curious about us. We are still the new people in town ( after half a year of part time living here ).
The fact that Clare is working on a dress, right here right now - and hand sewing - sure seems to invite people over.
It also helps that we speak Italian and several other languages.
Anyhow, I am a bit riled up on coffee ( not even sure if this is correct English ). Two coffees in a row is a bit much for me, nowadays and the social energy adds to that.
I think I am gonna end this write up, right here, right now. In fact, I am looking forward to being part of this conversation. Also, the bar is about to close for lunch/ per pranzo and I don't have Internet at home, today, as I need my phone to work for that and it, once again, doesn't want to charge.
Perhaps it's time to get back to potato charging.
