I am here to burst out my feelings about what happened to my company on a simple mistake. I want to release my thoughts and my feelings so that I can have good night sleep after this because I can't rest until I can share this to other.
As I was working in a company for over 1 year and over 5 years in this industry, we can make some mistakes by working and not just only this field but all of the fields like in an office, in a business, or other field of works.
For me, for over one year in this company, I made a few mistakes that is tolerable because it's a small mistake but just last week I have made a simple mistake that turned into a nightmare. At first, I didn't knew that there was a mistake that I've made from that and after 5 minutes, one of my boss messaged me directly on what happened because she received a complaint on that client.
I just went again to review our conversation with my previous client and I realized at that time that there was mistake that I've made from the material. It's a simple mistake but one my boss suddenly ranting about how she was working hard to find the client and I am not a competent as the other employees.
I was surprised and frowned on what happened but a mistake is a mistake so I expected that I will get some deductions from that incident. It's okay for me to get deduction from them because it was my fault but I received a penalty for that and some bad words from my boss where she said words that were below the belt.
I am dumbfounded for what she said to me and I can't believe that she said that directly. That really hurts and I don't know what to say to my boss because I can't believe she is belittling me as their employee and not to mention I am in their company for over one year.
It's not that I am right but a deduction is enough for me for my mistake but I don't believe that I get deserve for that words that she said. What I don't understand is that even if I worked in their company for over a year but they treated me like I am new to their company. I'm doing my very best to gave these client a good presentation for their satisfaction. Not to mention that the salary is not as big as other company I am sticking into it because I like how they manage their company as a whole but after that incident I don't think it's really worth it because they most value the client than the employees which are working for them.
I also said my colleague who works in this company about this incident and she said that this is not the only incident that happened but there are other employees that do worst than mine but they weren't fired and they also received bad feedback from our boss and they didn't mind them.
There are lots of companies out there that deserves my worth and I don't think that I can be treated like the way they treated me just like this company because there are other ways to communicate to other employees where they really care about their employees.
Today, I'm still continuing in their company as if nothing happened but still it haunts me about that incident but I think I will be okay for now.
