All thanks to #MarketFriday by providing another opportunity to come on board.
This Friday happens to be a very special Friday for myself and the people around me.
Today I am a kind of having a hard time making the right choice for cooking utensils, because looking around, you will notice that there are different dishes and they are all made for different purposes, some for noble purposes and some for ignoble purposes. I tried to make a choice in the market but I am having a hard time, because some of the utensils really look like what I need, but looking at it very well you will notice that it is not the original of what you want but the fake one that will not last, which is also called 'aba na'anya' by the Igbo people in Nigeria. The Hausa man Will call it ' jebu',.
It is always said that not all that glitters is gold, and it happens to be true.
There are some things you will see in market and buy it thinking it is the original, but on reaching home, you will later discover that it is the fake one that was given to you in the name of original.
You will hear some of them say that this particular one that is given to you is the original, that is the best. Otu a wu ezi. Meaning that there is no truth in what have been said.
Most marketer have no truth in them, especially in this part of the world where I come from. Though, I don't know if it is applicable to other parts of the world.
Making business with the truth gives your customers confidence in you, whenever they want to buy anything, they will prefer to buy it from you because you will always tell the truth no matter what.
I know that things are very expensive nowadays, but that doesn't give us the right to mislead our customers by telling lies just because we want to sale our goods.
It has been a wonderful experience in the market today, see you next Friday.
