This is going to be my first participation here in this awesome #MarketFriday by Ma'am
And to begin with, let me share with you my Healthy Market Friday as My son and I visited the Market, particularly the fresh fruits and vegetable area.
The best place in the market that I wanted to visit is the vegetables and fruits stand section. It was a public market here in my place in San Pedro Laguna, we call it the "SUKI MARKET".
During Ber months there are some cheaper fruits, and the others are very costly. But I am so happy and satisfied with the quality. Different fruits and vegetables.
It's always practical to buy in the local markets where the prices are cheaper and the varieties of them you'll choose from.
I bought different kinds of vegetables in this place and the store owners are very accommodating, they even suggested to me the best kind to choose and they also picked the best in their products.
Some vegetables are not available in malls and supermarkets. But here you will enjoy the freshness of the products like the "Puso ng Saging" it's the banana flower that blooms into fruit hehe I hope I described it rightly, anyway just take a look at the photo!
There were also string beans, eggplant, and a lot more!
We proceeded to the fruit stand beside the vegetable stand, and I loved the smell of the different fruits I saw there, all are fresh.
One of my favorite fruit is also there, the Lanzones, a very sweet and juicy fruit that I like the most even when I was a kid aside from Apples and oranges. There are also some other fruits that I am not familiar with the name of.
I also see the Green mangoes that look so crispy and sour! Wow! I love ripe mangoes but I always hear that some people love to eat this when it is not ripened.
The Pineapple looks so yummy and smells so good, the price ranges from 80 Pesos ($1.25) to 100 ($2) per piece according to the size.
After we bought what we need at the fruit stand, we walk around and see some vendors selling mixed vegetables along the road, there you can also find packs of mixed vegetables onions, tomatoes, and other spices when you are rushing, best to check their product.
Going to the public vehicle terminal, I saw a Yakult vendor, with her cart and she got the perfect place, most especially the kids love it.
And before I forget and end this wonderful market day! Before we went to the church I saw different toys for the kids in the parking lots and everyone's mood was so happy, there was also a lady selling Ilang-ilang garland. Ilang -ilang is a very beautiful and fragrant yellow-green flower!
I almost forget that we are still in pandemic time hehe!
I also saw some Halloween stuffs, and Christmas decor displays in some stores..with Christmas songs as the background music. Hehe! Christmas spirit is in the air already! It added to the joyful feeling of my market day!
