Good day friends of #hive. Hope you are all doing well for today's #MarketFriday which you can follow because she's the initiator of the community and you always follow her to view other authors' market points of view across different countries of the world.
Sorry that my post is coming late but just that I had a bad day not minding the increment of #BTC, #Hive. My landlord visited the house after years the building was set and put for rent. I did not say that it was a bad day for me as if am owning him rent but just that most of the activities of the house from other tenants are shouldered on me and it was really tough for me accounting for some things that need to be changed in the house for maintenance.
Another challenge I encountered was that of the security man of the house trying to give my landlord a good impression that he was doing his security job well while he was all lying.
Let me not talk much about this and tell you more about the market, please!!!
I visited the Wurukum market of Makurdi Benue State Nigeria for some food items that I have not gotten for some time now because I don't like buying things that concern food items in a small manner. I like buying enough food items that can take me and my family for months and at least for the #weekend.
I love buying food items mostly on weekend days because things in the market especially in Nigeria are always cheaper because most businessmen and farmers must have taken their food items to the market because they are free from office work.
From the market, I first bought some small items like a sachet of my salt and Maggi because I just remembered that my woman reminds me of that before I left the house this evening after my landlord left.
I bought the sachet of salt at the price of $0.17 while there are other sachets lesser than that price.
I also bought the sachet of Maggi at the price of $1.3 on like the last price market weeks ago at $1.07.
In Africa especially in Nigeria, Garri is a very important food to have in the house because of its heavyweight in carbohydrate and energy display because will do heavy work. So, for that reason, I don't play with Garri in the house. I marked sure I visit the center of Garri sellers and I was able to buy a full custard of Garri at the price of $2.3.
I also bought some paint rice because my siblings live in my house too. They just love eating stew rice and for that reason, stew rice is also my favorite. I bought a paint of custard rice for $4.6 and that was local rice produced within the State of Makurdi Benue Nigeria.
Because I can't just eat starchy foods alone, I need to get some beans at least for protein. I bought a paint of custard beans at the price of $2.1.
