It's hard to believe we are here again, on the verge of a brand-new year. 2022, is that right? Let me think on that for a minute, ok, I just broke out the new calendar I got for free from Oxford Academy & Central School. I guess they are celebrating 228 years of educational service, the school system was established in 1794, according to my free 2022 calendar.
To bring in the new year the first thing that pops into my head is really good food and some kind of champagne, it doesn't need to be expensive, it only needs a good pop!
I hopped in my car by 10am and traveled to the big city of Norwich, I am joking about the big part, I would say it's a medium city, nah, small but oh so lovely to shop, we can get almost everything we need there.
First stop, my favorite wine shop.
Dom is a little too rich for my thirst. I did enjoy these beautifully decorated bottles.
This place may be small, but what a selection.
Now onto the second stop.
This is quite a big grocery store that has an onsite bakery and a wonderful fish market. It has a fairly nice line of organic foods and wild caught fish. We will not buy farm raised fish, but farm raised chicken and pork, no problem. Since we grow most of our veggies, I only need fresh produce for our raw food intake and it's nice to know this store carries most of what I need.
Sea See food, eat food.
Sending the love out there to all my #hive friends.
Now to my very special girlfriend , thanks for all you contribute to the communities you serve.
is never far from my heart.
First time in four years that my Christmas cactus bloomed.
I hope I can make midnight.
