Happy Friday my dear hivers! One more week is ending and the time has come for one more #MarketFriday post, a lovely initiative by !
It has been a week now that we are in Nafplio and I have already shared with you a lot of images of the old medieval town but we have been avoiding the most commercial roads so far. I am sure though that Denise wants to see something more than beautiful buildings and scenic views. So off we go to the main roads of the settlement that are practically a stone built shopping mall!
The shops you can find here are very diverse but there is one common parameter to most of them, a lot of cute, fun and beautiful objects that are totally useless! Exactly the kind you want to buy when you are on vacation :)
Shops with clothes, jewelry, watches and a few traditional products are completing the scenery along with the numerous taverns, coffee shops and restaurants! The concept is that if you have money to spend, it is really easy to do so :)
Even the vegetables are on display like touristic souvenirs although I can assure you that are absolutely edible :)
Even some street traders have found a place to lay their goods!
Although I didn't want to buy anything it was quite amusing walking to these roads, staring at the windows and taking pictures. And before the walking is over my partner have found something beautiful, as well as useful, to buy. She loved this hat and for sure it would be precious for the summer to come.
My only question now is, would the post payout be enough to pay for the hat :)
All the pictures and the words are mine.
